OUTROEU apresenta hoje ao público o álbum A Mágica Por Trás da Forma (Universal Music). Para Guto, o álbum é resultado de uma grande vontade de se reinventarem sonoramente: “’A Mágica Por Trás da Forma’ é um trabalho bem diferente de tudo o que já fizemos até agora, este álbum tem um quê de pop, com elementos do rock, indie, synth-pop sem deixar de lado o jeito OUTROEU de ser. É o primeiro álbum que assinamos a produção em colaboração com o Tulião (Túlio Airold), que é um baita produtor musical e, antes de tudo, nosso empresário” – resume Guto, que ainda explica o motivo do nome do novo disco: “Esse nome é meio que uma indagação do porquê de tanta coisa mágica acontecer com a gente, os encontros, as coincidências – ou não. Já Mike faz um balanço do que o lançamento representa na história atual da dupla: “Tenho a sensação de que este álbum parece que é um pouco do nosso passado, bastante do presente e muito do nosso futuro. Começamos antes da pandemia e acabamos quando tudo já estava sob controle, esse conteúdo musical também fala muito do jeito que fomos amadurecendo no jeito de tirar som. Nós, nos nossos estúdios, compondo por bases, pouco violão, do jeito que fomos naturalmente desenvolvendo pelas circunstâncias. A produção foi feita pelo Tulio Airoldi, nosso “terceiro eu” que, numericamente, coincidiu em estar produzindo nosso terceiro álbum. Compartilhamos muito a coisa dos arranjos e produção neste álbum, mas ele foi o head da produção.

Formado por Mike Tulio e Guto Oliveira, coincidências não faltam nas biografias dos parceiros: ambos são de Nova Iguaçu, na baixada fluminense, região metropolitana do Rio de Janeiro, e nasceram sob o signo de Áries – Guto em 1989 e Mike, um ano depois.
